We sent our 1-year-old Labrador Padraigh aka Paddy, to Tom as he was full of lab puppy energy and was extremely headstrong and stubborn.
I was getting to the point of frustration when trying to manage him, especially on our daily walks and knew Paddy needed training.
Tom trained Paddy in general obedience, discipline and eventually moved into his dock diving.
When Paddy came back to us, he was a different dog, in the best way!
On our daily walks, neighbors commented on the transformation of Paddy’s behavior. Our walks were much more enjoyable and I was no longer frustrated.
Tom worked with Paddy to compete in Dock Diving. In just 2 months and 4 events, Paddy excelled in the competitions and has qualified for the World Championships!
A small part of Paddy’s accomplishments may be genetics. We are excited that Paddy is a descendant from my dad’s first male Labrador. My dad had Max 30 years ago and through research done by Tom, we were able to find Paddy’s mom!
